Laura S. Kearsley. MD

Dr. Laura Kearsley, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist who received her degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Laura Kearsley, MD joined Mountain View Eye Clinic in 2021. She is a board-certified ophthalmologist with extensive experience in oculoplastic surgery, cataracts, and medical retina. Dr. Kearsley is also a seasoned refractive surgeon, performing LASIK and SMILE procedures, and is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist. She previously served as an adjunct faculty member at the California Pacific Medical Center ophthalmology residency. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Kearsley is an avid skier and hiker who enjoys spending time exploring the Alaskan backcountry.

Previous Experience

After completing her fellowship, Dr. Kearsley worked for Hawaii Permanente Medical Group in Kahului, HI for 3 years. She then went on to work in San Francisco for the Northern California Permanente Medical Group for 9 years. During this time she also served as a faculty member for the CPMC residency overseeing residents and teaching cataract surgery. Over the years she has also been involved in medical mission work in Kenya and Rwanda.
