VSP Update
We are always looking for ways to enhance your experience as a patient, and we have recently made several upgrades to our operating procedures that will allow us to emphasize excellent patient care while performing many of our day to day tasks more efficiently.
One change that we wanted to share with you is that we are now accepting VSP as an out-of-network provider. While this does not change your eligibility or the services you will receive at Mountain View, it may affect the way your insurance company covers the services we provide. When you use your VSP benefits at our office, you will now be asked to pay for your exam and hardware fees up front, and our office will bill VSP on your behalf. VSP will then reimburse you based on your plan’s out-of-network coverage. Please note that if you have any medical eye concerns such as cataracts, dry eyes, ocular allergies, floaters or others we can still see you and bill appropriately under your medical insurance benefits.
By maintaining an independent out-of-network relationship with VSP, Mountain View Eye Center has the freedom to continue providing the highest quality, most technologically advanced eye care services, unique curated frames, and premium digitally surfaced lens designs that you have come to expect from our office.
