Susan Guritz, OTR/L, SCLV

Sue-Guritz-photoSusan graduated with honors from the University of Alaska, earning undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology and later completing her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Colorado State University. Susan especially enjoys working with older adults and has occupational therapy experience in hospital, skilled nursing and home health settings; through this experience she learned what an impact low vision can have on a person’s daily life. When she learned that Dr. Katherine Johnson was looking for an occupational therapist to address this need in our community, Susan was excited for the opportunity. Susan has earned a graduate certificate in Low Vision Rehabilitation from the University of Alabama and has achieved Specialty Certification in Low Vision through the American Occupational Therapy Association. In her spare time, Susan enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, hiking and spending time with family.
