Stefanie Muche, COA OSC

Clinical Manager

Stefanie-MucheStefanie Muche has worked in the field of ophthalmology since 2010. She earned her Medical Office Specialist Technical Diploma in her home state of Wisconsin, and followed it by beginning her first position in ophthalmology at Wichita Vision Institute in Kansas. While there, she became well-versed in a variety of positions throughout an ophthalmology clinic, from working the front desk to helping with surgical procedures in the exam room. It was there that she realized that lending a hand to save her patients’ vision was her passion. As her husband’s air force career enabled her to move and live all around the United States, she found herself gaining valuable experience and insight working at four additional locations across Wisconsin and Idaho under a total of seventeen different physicians, each with a unique perspective on the field of ophthalmology. In 2014, Stefanie joined the Mountain View Eye Center family as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), where her experience, attention to detail and commitment to her work advanced her rapidly into becoming a certified ophthalmic scribe (OSC). In 2017, Stefanie put her vast knowledge of ophthalmology and breadth of experience with multiple clinics to optimal use with the new title of Clinical Manager, and her unsurpassed work ethic, dedicated compassion in helping others, and continual push to be the best has enabled her and her team to provide ever-growing excellence in patient care. In her spare time, Stefanie spends as much time as possible outdoors with her husband and their two Labradors, enjoying everything that Alaska has to offer.
